What is biotin?
Biotin (vitamin B7) is a water-soluble B-group vitamin. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair — a claim authorised by EU Regulation 432/2012.
COMAI BIOTINE also provides vitamin C: vitamin C contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Why is comai. biotin in liquid form?
A liquid form is already in solution: it doesn't have to disintegrate first, as a tablet or capsule does. The dose can be adjusted with the graduated measuring cap, which a tablet doesn't allow. The format also suits people who find capsules hard to swallow.
How long does a bottle last?
A 500 ml bottle corresponds to 33 days of use (daily serving: 15 ml). That's the pack size, not the length of the course: we recommend a 3-month course, i.e. 3 bottles, with the oil used in parallel throughout.

When should I take comai. biotin?
Preferably with a meal, morning or midday. Consistency matters more than the exact time.
Can I take biotin if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
No, comai. biotin is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women without prior medical advice.
Is comai. biotin suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes, the formula contains no ingredients of animal origin.
Are allergies possible?
The formula is gluten-free and GMO-free. If you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients, do not consume the product.

Which oil to choose: Combination & Dry Hair or Oily Hair?
The Combination & Dry Hair oil combines four nourishing plant oils — jojoba, sweet almond, castor, avocado — with six essential oils: rosemary, ginger, Atlas cedar, lavender, ylang-ylang, thyme. It suits you if your lengths are rough, dull or hard to detangle.
The Oily Hair oil is built on a base of Damask rose hydrosol and sunflower, with six balancing essential oils: rosemary, lavender, rose geranium, ginger, lemon, ylang-ylang. Its light texture suits you if your roots get greasy quickly and your scalp lacks freshness.

What does "COSMOS ORGANIC certified" mean?
COSMOS ORGANIC is the most demanding organic label in Europe, awarded by Ecocert. It guarantees a composition largely from organic farming, a responsible manufacturing process and full traceability of ingredients.
How do I use comai. oil?
Apply a few drops to the scalp and lengths, massage gently for 2 to 3 minutes, leave on, then rinse with your usual shampoo. Frequency: 2 to 3 times a week.
Is the oil suitable during pregnancy?
The oils contain essential oils. They are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or children under 12.
Can I use the oil every day?
No, use 2 to 3 times a week is recommended. Using it too often could weigh the hair down.

Who makes comai. products?
comai. products are formulated in Belgium by HM Pharmaceuticals SRL, following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
The hair oils are made in Belgium. The liquid biotin is made in Sweden, then packaged and placed on the market by HM Pharmaceuticals from Belgium.
Are comai. products tested on animals?
No. In accordance with European Regulation 1223/2009, no cosmetic product or ingredient is tested on animals in the European Union.
Where can I buy comai.?
Directly online at comai.be. Pharmacy distribution is in preparation.

What are the delivery times?
We currently deliver to Belgium only: 2 to 5 business days after dispatch, i.e. 3 to 7 business days in all including order preparation.

Yes, delivery is free in Belgium on any order over €55.
How do I track my order?
You receive a confirmation email, then a shipping email with a tracking number as soon as the carrier collects the parcel.

Can I return an opened bottle of biotin?
No. Under Belgian law, food supplements with a broken seal cannot be taken back for hygiene reasons.
